I am bored senseless, and I ache all over. I danced so much last night, and on top of that I had heels on (small ones, but nonetheless, heels), so now my body is paying for it. I hope I'm not so stiff I can't move tomorrow. I'm about like that now. Its so bad that I actually took 800mg of ibuprofen earlier. I haven't taken any in a while, and I don ( Read more... )

Do some stretching, You Wild Dancing Girl. That will help your body ache less.

Doesn't it feel great to get rid of clutter? I recently cleaned the heck out of my closet. I filled up 5 trash bags with stuff. It made me feel so productive! :-)

It does feel great to be clutter-less. I don't wanna say clutter-free b/c I have a long way to go on that one. If I could just get over this attachment I have to some material things, I would have a LOT less to clean up every day.

Man, I just dropped off a ton of household items at the thrift store that were just sitting in my closet, along with EIGHT bags of clothes. That was just from half of my dresser. I feel bad because I spent so much money on them, but my philosophy is if you haven't worn it within the last two months, pitch it.

Two months?? I toss anything I haven't worn in two years. That way in case if I just haven't worn something b/c of the seasons or what have you, then I'll give myself one last chance to wear it. If it hasn't seen the light of day in two years, it's outta here. (But I bend on that a little. If it is something that I bought and I know I don't like it or won't wear it, or it shrunk or just doesn't fit good, I get rid of it sooner than that... But I rarely ever keep anything past the 2 year point.)

Oh, the joys of getting older! I remember going roller skating for four hours straight every Friday night and it didn't phase any of us kids a bit. Now I would be lucky to get out there for 15 minutes and not be huffing and puffing. I feel your pain. This is when it would be great to jump into a hot tub and veg out for say two hours or so!
