First of all, I love that mood icon. :D

Yay! :D That's awesome that you came up with a great idea AND have a new office. I was hoping you actually got a super great new job, but this sounds nice, too. My old roommate had a similar desk, except it was made with a big piece of wood on filing cabinets.

It sounds really great all around though. :D I feel special because I have obviously smart friends. And desk smart ones! I made a new desk the other day, too. :)

How did you make your desk? I thought about the filing cabinets and using an old door with a piece of plexiglass screwed to the top of it to make it flat, but somehow that never amounted to anything.

What mood icon?

At the top of your post! :) The lemon with the glasses.

I made it by putting part of a leftover desk onto two old computers. :) I took a picture, but I got distracted by wanting to do my work, so it doesn't look too good, heh, but here it is!

LOL. I guess great minds think alike!

All I can say about the mood icon: DUH. I blanked out for a minute b/c I didn't know what you were talking about!

I like your desk. That is an awesome idea since you have extra computer parts sitting around.

The countertop was pretty heavy, but I was able to get it by myself. It is made out of wood with a marble-looking formica top. So it's not really marble.

We have a granite table too! It is white with a white/pearly/black granite inset. It is beautiful. And it is HEAVY. We had to have three strong men to move it too! And I got it for a steal! It was brand new at the Habitat for Humanity store, and only $88 plus tax!

I knew we were long lost sisters at heart, but who knew we had the same exact kitchen table!!!!!!! And I like the idea of square, black dishes. I bet it does look awesome. If I remember, I will take a pic of my table tomorrow and post it, so we can compare. :D
