I spent years with a fellow human being who was extremely self centered. Not a "bad" person mind you , just very selfish and childlike. In my defense I have to say he was extremely attractive and used pretty words ( all an overweight, insecure 17 yr old needs to fall inlove). Eventually I painstakingly and heartbrokenly decided enough was enough.

No, we have been seperated/divorced for almost 3 years now. I do however have a wonderful boyfriend. That would be Burt, almost 2/12 years. We are just waiting on the legal aspect though. Don't ya just hate when life gets all complicated and shit?

waiting on divorce (mine is more of the custody battle. 19 months now)

Yes we do. I signed papers yesterday, woo-hoo. 5 weeks ago he told me he wanted custody, talk about gaining hate for someone. I was terrified it would be a nasty expensive battle. I am so glad it did not happen, that would be a nightmare. That has to be an awful thing 19 months? I noticed the things in common also.
