My daughter is five weeks old and was just under six pounds the last time she was weighed. Her feet are really hard to keep warm. I have a woven wrap, and this week she decided she wants her feet out. Her feet were warm when froggied, but now I don't know how to keep them toasty. My husband tried socks under footed sleeper this morning. She got her feet right out. I haven't tried a hoodie or vest yet. It's been too warm so far this summer for me to wear more than a T-shirt and the wrap. It will cool off soon.

what about socks over the sleeper the fabric will be less slippery then little feet :) I've also seen little moccasin slippers used over sleepers that looked pretty comfy

NB babylegs with the feet covered should stay on. Padraigs, there are certain brands of socks that stay on better than others as well- babylegs and gap brands worked well for us.

Have you tried different brands of socks? I had two moms tell me that the only brand that would stay on their kids was Trumpette.

Maybe you could wrap it like a moby, with the extra layer of fabric over her legs? (Halfway between what they call the "hug hold" and the "newborn hug hold"). She can still have her legs sticking out of the X part, just hidden under the front panel. That might satisfy her need to stick her legs out. That's what I've been doing with my little one. Sorry if my description isn't making sense... tired brain.
