Aaron has his days and nights confused I believe. He sleeps all the time and can't be roused to eat sometimes - during the day. At night, he wants to eat all the time. How do I help correct this problem? If this were my first child, I would not care. But, I have another little one at home and I need to be alert to take care of her as well ( Read more... )

I'm having more trouble than I care to admit with Hannah right now...
so I'm probably not the best one to give advice..

I think you just need to go to step 1 and start from scratch with instilling the schedule?

I dunno..that's how we got her(Hannah) turned back around :)

(and welcome to my friend's list :) yay for Christian friends!) :)

Hi there! My advice is two parts. First of all, limit the sleep during the day. After feeding, do you best to keep baby awake for at least an hour. Also, don't let his day naps go too long. If you are on a three hour schedule for example, keep him awake for one hour and then don't let him sleep for longer than two hours. I had to keep my son fairly naked all day to keep him awake until he finally got his days and nights straightened out. Secondly, at night, feed with the lights low or off, don't talk above a whisper and put him straight back to bed after feeding. Just try your best not to add any stimulation. Good luck and keep us posted!
