You what!? This baby is a failure to thrive baby, and you're advocating going even longer between feeds!?

Strange, my daughter who is of a similar weight and age is classed as failure to thrive, and as she started in a previous post, the Dr also said her baby was FTT.

Yeah, so smart that she's in here with her FTT baby and putting it on a longer schedule. Cause that's sane.

Time to go to the psych unit now?

I think the teething thing can be easily be blamed for other problems...Amy just cut her first two teeth and even though she threw a brief shrieking fit in the grocery store, it didn't effect her sleep at all. But of course it effects every baby differently, but be careful not assume teething is the sole cause of her sleep problems.

I agree with jenafiori...a baby Hannah's age needs to be on an extended routine with three solids. It's a tricky transistion to make, but once it's established it pays off in so many ways. In fact, I bet at her age you can just start her in three meals right away without having to worry about easing her into it. If you're skeptical just try it for a week and see if it helps.

Amy is 8 1/2 months old and on chunky baby food and finger foods (her doctor actually okay'd those at her 6 month check-up, to my surprise). She sleeps great and has more energy than I can keep up with.

I'll be praying for you...They grow so fast it's hard to keep up! =)
