Ok..so I admit this morning while James was having his 'awake' time, I didn't hold him, cuddle him or rock him. I stuck him in his swing, turned on the mobile and music and let him rock and back and forth while I cleaned the kitchen. Then when I moved on to clean the living room, I put on some Aerosmith and stuck him in his Eddie Bauer bouncer seat

Oh, I remember when my little Jake first reached out to grab the puppy hanging from his bouncy seat. My hubby and I were so excited. I wrote it in his baby book and everything. You have to keep track of these little milestones because the first time only happens once! My Jake just started eating Cheerios this week. He crunches them up with his only two teeth. Too cute!

I wonder what parents did before the invention of tons of plastic crap for them to dump thier babies in all day long.

Duh! They left them in their cribs or on the floor. Before we had the plastic crap, moms actually did something in the house all day instead of sitting on the couch watching soaps all day and claiming it was best for the baby. Try putting your child down when he's 10 months old and he'll scream for a year. Keep up the good work. I'm sure you'll be fine.
