Mealtime Battles

The Beebs is 7 months old now so we are exploring the 2nd Babywise book together. I must say, everything about my child is perfect so far except for his eating habits. He just thinks it's hilarious to spit out every bite of food. We spit, we laugh, and we play in it. Of course, I am now to the point where I want to stop this behavior before it ( Read more... )

formula is most important now! I always gave mine an 8oz and then food and then let them eat as much food as they wanted! I was surprised how much they ate. Right now they are getting all their nutrients from the bottle and just a little bit from food. bottle should still be #1. Peace.

God forbid he be allowed to play with his food and learn what it is. People learn with more than one sense, you fucking idiot.

Yeah okay, he's been eating food for over 4 months. I think he has learned what it is. This is not a learning gesture, it's a playing one and I don't want my baby playing in his food. It's not a toy and I have every right to decide that for him.

And cussing to prove your point is so utterly immature.

I think you misunderstood me. I would never hurt my baby. I'm merely trying to get his attention. A hand squeeze is nothing. I do worse that when I'm burping him!
