This was interesting to see from you. I liked your makeover of Jennifer. I usually try to make her look... A little separate from her family. The glasses here suited her.
About the age gaps between sibs, I agree when it comes to sims, but I'm surrounded by people with huge age gaps as such. In a sims neighbourhood, it is hard to keep track of, so I don't blame you. Plus, any sib of Lucy's will be a physical clone :p

Hahah, it's honestly the first time in years that I opened a premade hood. I think I peeked at Riverblossom Hills once, but had no real interest in actually doing anything with it, and quickly left for my own custom hood. XD

I'm glad you agree on the glasses - I threw them on as an experiment, en-route to the necklaces. I thought they really worked here, so she kept them.

And for sure, big age gaps happen IRL all the time. A couple I know just had a baby and their youngest/only other child is already 7, almost 8. So whatever works, you know? I just prefer them to be fairly close together in the sims. C: And yeah - there's also the part where there isn't really enough genetic diversity to warrant another kidlet anyway.

I'm 90% certain the horse is actually a basegame deco item, about 3/4s of the way through the sculpture section. I might be wrong, it could be from some extracted TS3 stuff. Have a look, though - if you can't find it I'll have a proper look next time.

Do you mean the necklace that Lucy is wearing as a teen? That's actually part of the outfit, which I think is from the Teen Style Stuff pack. I actually quite like a lot of the Teen Style clothing, so it's nice to be able to use it for once. XD

I don't really ever play the premades either but my reasoning is different. I just don't want to "mess them up" if that makes any sense. I am just too much of a perfectionist. Although, I have started a megahood and I have played a couple of families, but they are in Belladonna Cove so... I don't know.
But anyway, your makeovers of the sims look awesome! I love Lucy, she looks adorable, and Jennifer looks great as well.

That makes sense, I suspect a part of my own subconscious is taking the same attitude. They all have their stories and if I don't really want to play to those stories... I can, but it's nicer if they're kept in line with their original designs.

I don't think I could handle a megahood. XD They look interesting and I like seeing what people do with them, but they're just not for me.

Jennifer's makeover is probably my favourite of the three, but I like Lucy-the-teen quite a lot. C:

I really liked this makeover, especially the thought you put into the decor being a mix between modern and country :)

Thanks. C: It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to use, but like always, once that was sorted the rest of it just fell into place quite nicely.

Hello! Nice colours in the house, hearing your rationale was interesting. John's so generic it's hard to do anything with him, but Jennifer's makeover definitely suits her! Is that dress a recolour?

I have played the original three neighbourhoods plus Riverblossom from the start at least once or twice each, I love teasing out the possible stories of the premade families. And I can never resist letting them have extra children, LOL. Especially if it's family sims who inexplicably only have one teenage child. But with John and Jennifer it makes sense that they may have compromised on just one child. Usually I let John have *just one* more if he wants to - but he has to stay home to look after him/her!

Hey there friend. :D

The dress is actually from Freetime - it's one that a sim can sew with a gold badge in hand, but I got it from here. I like it quite a lot, but try to avoid using it... for fear of overusing it. XD

So help me, I'm starting to think of a plot for Angela Pleasant and Dustin Broke. x_x Oi, moar sim projects to kick around in that empty head of mine.

John did actually have the want for another baby when I first moved them in. I considered it for quite a few days, but ultimately he lost the want and it didn't come back, so that plus Lucy's age... they're getting by with just one. Neither of them have family-related LTWs either, so I'm okay with it.

I've never played around much with the Free Time craftables - or the OFB ones, come to that. Maybe I should!
