I'd say don't send them, Luna and Tabitha, only because they're already in their LTW jobs and with the Sims' newspapers and computer job opening the way they are, you never know when you'll get them the job back. :D

Mm, I really do just want to limit it to sims who require university to get their LTW. From memory they would keep their jobs and be auto-promoted upon returning to the main n'hood, but if they're already employed in their LTWs, then... idk, seems like getting a whoooole degree would be a bit of a waste.

I decided that unless their LTW requires it, my teen sims aren't going to college. Uni is boring and there's no reason to play through it if you don't have to. So I'd advise not sending them.

I have the same sort of rule. Of course, it's rather tempting to break that rule and send 'em anyway. Buuuuut it'll be boring, so I'm leaning towards a no-can-has.

Perhaps you could bend the rules a bit and play all four in one dorm? Otherwise I would not play the two girls through if you find University to be boring.

Problem is, the dorms are small: there's just 5 rooms per dorm, so if I had 4 playables that's just 1 non-playable and idk, that might be too dull for me. If the dorm had 6 or 8 rooms then I wouldn't mind so much, but I'm leaning towards just skipping it for the Omega twins entirely.

On the other hand, maybe uni is a good time for the twins to learn to be a little bit more independent. Maybe send Tabitha, since she's not interested in starting a family and instead could want to spend more time on personal development? Then you could put her in the other dorm so you only have to play one uni round. If the resulting age difference bothers you, you could fix it in SimPE or use Squinge's YA hacks to make Luna a young adult without uni.

It's tempting, but idk. Getting a whole degree when they're already in their LTW careers and will be auto-promoted anyway... seems like a bit of a waste of time really. I think I'm going to just pass Uni by for the Omega twins, there's no real advantage in sending them, and any narrative-y plans I have aren't really going to kick in for a while yet anyways.

As awesome as it would be, I honestly think only sims who NEED a uni degree for their LTW should go, as well as others who might make the ride a little less painfully boring :)

happy simming!

I pretty much agree, and that's the rule I had in mind when deciding who should or shouldn't go. The Omegas are pretty much definitively in the 'no-go' section now, so that sorts that. C:
