Skiving Snackboxes

The question foremost on my mind when I woke up today was this: how does one pronounce "skiving"? I assume the i is "ai" like in "ride", but as I have only read the word numerous times and never actually heard anyone use it in a sentence, I don't know for sure. Perhaps I'll have to look closer into the world of delinquent British teenagers

you are precisely correct; the "i" in "skive" is pronounced "ai".

now perhaps you can help me with the pronunciation of "cuillère"... hehe...

cuillère = kwee-yehr, with the 'r' rolled in the back of the throat (as are all French 'r's)

I'm glad I've been pronouncing skive correctly. I'll have to use it more often. :o) Though I suppose I'm not especially given to skiving, all things considered.

btw, A.G. Ferrari's is the shop where you keep buying those expensive cakes. I figured you might be happy if I got an employee discount there. heh
