Does it matter anymore?

Protest all you want - it doesn't matter.
Disagree all you want - it won't change anything.

Bush will do what he damn well pleases and the masses will gladly follow, regardless of whether or not any of it makes sense.

"Fight the terrorists in Iraq so we don't have to fight them here!"

Okay, politics really get my nerve, and I don't agree with almost anything that Bush has done during his terms in office... but that's most likely because I am a bleeding heart liberal ( ... )

I feel ya. The USA does rock on many, many levels but I also realize there are many other countries out there that have happy, content citizens that enjoy just as much freedom as we do. We have reason to feel blessed and so do other countries. I don't subscribe to the "Love the USA or move to China" philosophy at all.

The thing I don't like about the USA is that quality life to us is the biggest house and baddest car you can get, whereas in other civilized, advanced nations less emphasis is placed on material possessions and more on just taking care of yourself, your family and enjoying life, our surroundings and the things it has to offer.

But yeah, the world is WAY chaotic and I don't see that changing any time soon. :-)
