Then to top it off, Alan Greenspan says our deficits are unsustainable. Yeah, no shit. White House says Bush will cut the deficit in half by 2009, but at what price is my question. The repurcussions will be felt in our standard of living without question

Politics are nuts. I've studied so much of them over the last three years I can bearely stand to look at them anymore. I believe that we all should be informed and take some sort of responsibility, but really, what can we do?? It's a hopeless cause in my opinion. And definately a sad case, this presidency..

Yeah, there's not much we can do. I think it's good that people get out and protest and what not but in all honesty I really don't think it makes a difference. The masses of this country have truly been dumbed down and there's not much we can do to change it.
