So I went to the Three Doors Down concert with Kim last night. Got to see everyone but Breaking Benjamin play. Very good show. Even got to see a mystery guest perform with 3 Doors. Ran into a couple of guys from work up there. It was a blast. Good company, good show, good conversation. Very glad I went. I'd get more into that, but there's a better ( Read more... )

first off glad to hear you got to go to the concernt i bet that was a lot of fun and i would have liked to gone myself funny thing is breaking ben, as i call it, the lead singer looks funny when he sings lol always makes me laugh but i like their music along with 3 doors. anyways about jay lol hmm first i dont understand why he would be upset for someone else answering the phone i mean friends answer eachother phones all the time at home, cells, whtever lol so that doesnt make a lot of sense. also you asked a simple question of what he does for work....now why would anyone have a problem with saying so unless they dont have a job or very embarrassed aobut what they do..i dont care if someone askes me what i do for work, hell i work at a boarding kennel for dogs and cats i dont care if the person has a better job than i do or thinks my job is dumb i love my job, great pay lots of fun great coworkers lol soo if your going to avoid answering or come up with stupid answers or correct people on their annuciation of words and meanings then ( ... )

I do have a question though, what "link" do you speak of? Kim's LJ has a phone post from July...that although funny, has nothing to do with said conversation.

Nevermind...I did some detective work and found it myself. All I have to say is that he totally did not get your personality and took offense to it. There will always be assholes (no offense intended to the guy) who hate you Ben. I find it funny, but I've known you long enough to brush it off and say "That's just Ben."

I don't know any specifics to this situation either - and I looked for the post and couldn't find it too, but I'd bet the dude's jealous (understandable) but to react in any kind of a defensive rant of any sort I'd label him most likely not proud of his "forte" and also immature. He surely didn't win any points with your friend this way.
Now if he would have said something like "I'm Kim's personal assistant and I'd I just called to ask her if she would rather me have the ropes or the handcuffs ready for her tonight, could you ask her for me?"
That would have sparked your jelousy and her interest in that oh so funny way that can be laughed off as innocent enough.... : )

One time at band camp...

I'm not goin up to CC on Saturday. I'm going up tonite though. I got talked into working this weekend for a friend. So I'm workin 9:30-6:30 saturday and sunday. Goin out tonite for the hell of it, but it's going to kill me saturday mornigna and I know it.
