Fucking assholes... I'm sure they couldn't point to a specific policy you were violating, just the same nebulous "you were doing bad stuff that we don't like or understand" as usual.
It is in no way, shape, or form in any of the company policies. Then again Michigan is an "at will" state. As such employment can be terminated by either party at any time for any reason.
so is there any way you can fight it?! I mean, seriously, that's the biggest bullshit excuse for firing I've ever heard of! Did you even receive a warning first or anything?!?! Like "hey, you aren't allowed to BLOG, just so you know from now on"..... or anything like that?!?! Or did they all of a sudden just come up w/ this shit?! And another thing, why do you have access to the internet as an employee if you aren't allowed to use it?! And were you ever told that you weren't allowed to use it?! I just can't believe it!
