Alright, so. I said that I would do progress reports on my progress on the Lego Millenium Falcon, so here's the first one. I've been working on it for well over a week now, but it's still only about 1/4 done, so you haven't missed a whole lot. Still, it's starting to actually look like something now. So. Onward.
So, here is a basic overview of the work area. This was several days ago, when the frame was looking much more skeletal. As you can see, I've got the pieces pushed to the sides, with a work area in the middle, and my instructions up at the top. Also, I am of course working in front of the TV, because what would a good long project be without the TV to keep you company? Lately, my program of choice while working has been The Universe, but I've also thrown in a little Ab Fab to keep it interesting.
A couple of pictures of all of the pieces waiting in the wings. You can also see the massive box in the second picture, which still has several bags inside of it. The box is pretty much empty now, but there don't really seem to be any less pieces lying around.
Han and Leia got bored with waiting for the ship to be finished. As you can see, Obe Wan Kenobe, Luke, and Chewbacca have all passed out from embarassment. Or maybe they've died?
This is from tonight, as are all the rest of the photos. Ths was a new section that I built entirely today.
Here is the frame, a bit more filled out than it was before.
And here is the frame with the new section attached. I think you get the general idea of how this works, so I'll let the rest of these pics speak for themselves.
Well, I hope you enjoyed it. This was a whole lot of photos, so future updates will probably have less, because this took way too long. Hah.
