I had checked on Faith a few times in the last ten hours. I was a bit worried that she was out for so long, but I figured she needed the rest. Tessa had fallen asleep a couple hours ago, but I wasn't willing to sleep while I had Morrigan. Besides, slayers don't need to sleep that much

I jumped slightly when I heard a soft knock at the door. Okay, Faith. Time to seriously chill the fuck out. It was probably Kennedy wondering what the hell I was doin' for ten hours.

Walking to the door I opened it and smiled at Kennedy who was carrying Morrigan in her arms. Taking Morrigan from her, I stepped aside so Kennedy could come in.

"Dude, I'm sorry I slept so long. I only meant to take a short nap. I hope she wasn't any trouble."

I smiled. "Nah. Come on, I hang out with you. Makes her look like an angel," I teased. "Of course, don't worry, she really was totally an angel."

"I know. Can you believe I have such a good baby?" I asked Kennedy with a smirk, as I laid Morrigan down in her crib. Her tiny fingers grabbed onto mine again and I looked down at her, scrutinizing her.

Was that you?

Turning back I yawned before taking in Kennedy again. "How are you and Tessa doing?" I asked curiously. I really had missed Kennedy, felt like I hadn't seen her in forever.

I worried a bit when I saw her yawn. How could she still be tired? Maybe she was just still waking up.

"We're good. Well, considering. She hasn't freaked out and left so I guess thats a good sign."

Yeah, Tessa'd seen a lot on the hellmouth, but nothing like this.
