I didn't look at Buffy, and I didn't say anything to her either. We'd talk sometime soon and I wasn't looking forward to it. Instead of saying anything to her I leaned on Kennedy, her arm around my waist as she helped me into the lobby.
My eyes widened as I saw what was waiting for us in the lobby. "Get out!" I said quickly, looking around. Where was Morrigan? He hadn't already gotten to her had he? Pulling away from Kennedy I clutched my gut as I looked for a weapon. "Get out of here."

I couldn't concentrate on any one thing until I felt Faith pull away and move toward the wolf. I know she may have wanted me to find Morrigan while she distracted the wolf, but there is some kind of best friend code that says you can't just leave your wounded best friend to get eaten up and shreded into peices.
Besides, in the back of my head, I knew that is Tessa and Morrigan were still in the hotel, they were likely long dead.
I pulled out the knife I'd taken out of the weapon's bag in the car and passed it to Faith. I should have known to come in more armed, but all I could do now was find something in the lobby to use.
