This year I actually visited Don in Brooklyn for Yanksgiving but last year I just went to one of the dinners that was being held by various friends for people who don't have family in the area. Are there none of those in Seattle!?
I celebrated with some friends and had a great time. (I also met some people who spoke French, and I got to talk in French with them that evening. Pretty neat.) Nothing replaces family, though.
