This my last entry on LiveJournal.

I got this account when my sister, maroon_lagoon, gave me an invite code back in October 2003. There weren't many people to read back then (just enigmaticdan, lambda_calculus, elindros8897, katforchrist, and firstgold). Over time, more and more people joined LJ, and somewhere between 2004 and 2005 it became a moderate phenomenon at SPUC; it wasn't unusual to see 20 or 30 posts per ( Read more... )

I agree Dan; I loved LJ, but like you said Rodney, it went from having a full page of new entries to read on here on a daily basis to a new entry once every couple of days. It's too bad this place went where it did, but Facebook really killed them there.

The funny thing is though, I feel like I can be more myself on here and share what I want/need to share, where I feel more reserved on Facebook. I don't hardly post 'notes' anymore, although I would love to post something a bit longer than a 'Twitter-esque' summary of that moment of my life.
