I shall the effect of this good lesson keep,
As watchman to my heart.

Alas poor bard. If you spite it for my sake, I will spite it for yours, for I will never love that which my friend hates.

Thy words are keen and kind; clear as the sun doth shine.
But sorrow I feel at the holding of affection; for honor
We should, those that hath spoken in poetry, for verily...

The poor people can't help it.

Prose itself must convert to poetry, if you come in her presence.

For what it's worth, you remember so much more than 'to be or not to be' which is more than what most people can say.

I think when things have an emotional resonance you remember them longer. Do you have a favorite song? Something you know backwards and forwards? Same idea.

He's probably turning over in his grave. But I'm still finding it pretty amusing.

I don't mind it so much. Better than the normal cursing and shouting that goes on around here.

Yeah you're right. Could really be a lot worse than some poetry reading.

So what's he talking about? Shakespeare. [Or you know you]

Helena loved Bertram, but he was of a higher status, a Count or something. In this speech she basically says she doesn't care about that - she decides her own destiny - and she's going to go after him anyway.

[Welcome to a conversation fraught with subtext.]

Yeah. I always kind of thought that status crap was bullshit.

[You know expect when it's Sam and he's determining who's good enough for his baby brother and who's not but that's a totally different thing. Really.]

I guess some people are big on it.

[Yay!subtext. Which Dean may or may not get on his part. Not that he won't infuse everything he says with it]

Doesn't always work, though. Some bridges are too far to cross.
