Backstreet Boys VIP Packages

May 27, 2011 17:02

Hopefully the moderators won't mind me posting this, but I was curious if anyone on this group has attended one of VIP package things with the Sound Check and Q & A and other goodies. This year my sister and I bought VIP passes with our tax refund, I've never been to one and I'm not trying to brag in anyway if you took it that way. I was just ( Read more... )

I went to the VIP's on the TIU tour, and they line every one up by level(platinum up front, gold in the middle, silver in the back), but everyone is in the first couple rows. They do the sound check and you can usually request the song...mostly was new album or greatest hits. The Q&A is one question for each boy...then they do the silver photos (group), then the gold and you leave as soon as the photo is done. The platinum folks go last and they do the backstage tour. One boy does the tour in each city (if you check the boards you should be able to see the order).

I think each band is doing their own VIP. I hope you enjoy it! I know I did.

Thank you so much! So it's pretty much standing where you can find room in your designated VIP section? How'd they go about helping choose a song? Are the boys nice? I am afraid to go, I've never really met them before, I've been close but never really got to meet them...I don't think I'll be able to talk nor be able to hug them....I am shy as it and putting me around them will make it ten times worse...was it fun?

Thank you SO much for answering! Sorry, I ask a lot of questions...

At least for us, they lined us up according to your VIP section then walked us over to the sound check WHICH WAS AMAZING BTW. They pretty much just pick whatever random song they want. I was front row screaming AS LONG AS YOU LOVE ME and yeah that didn't happen. XD The boys are RIDICULOUSLY nice. I love them so much. Don't be shy when you go. You don't know if this is going to be your only chance to meet them, so don't be afraid to go all out. Put your arms around them. They're used to it. Even if the guards tell you not to, don't worry. Just do it anyway. XD *bad influence!*

Thanks....my sister is threatening to yell my favorite song, which is PDA recently and we have it on ringtone so she said she'll play the ringtone in hopes they will hear it. I hope it is amazing, it seems amazing and fun.

I'll try not to be shy, I'll be with my sister, even though she will be on crutches she said she is going to force me to stand next to AJ and Nick who are my two favorites and she's a Brian girl and she is threatening that she is going to make me hug them....she would...

Your not a bad influence...trust me....

Oh, one other thing, for the photos, the boys stood behind a barrier, but it was usually waist high so you can hug them...at least we could last year. I went to two of them and they were all the same.

I can't answer your question about the VIPs, but I'd like to know about cameras. My daughter and I are going next Friday to the concert in DC. The ticket doesn't say anything about no cameras, and the Verizon Center said it depends on the concert. Anyone know if they're allowed?

I think you should be okay so long as your camera isn't a super duper high tech multi-lens, professional video camera or anything like that. I was able to take pictures and video with my camera and my mom with her iPhone just fine. :)

Thanks. I thought maybe it would be something like that. When I saw BSB last summer, they were at a small amphitheater. We were on the 7th row. :D It's going to be tough being in the nosebleed section!

Hi! I went to my first VIP last year for the TIU tour. I purchased the Platinum VIP (hey, if you're gonna go, might as well go all out!) and got to ask Brian a question during the Q&A session. I have to say, Nick is my favorite, but I think Brian is just absolutely gorgeous in person. Couldn't stop staring at his eyes.
All the boys are AMAZING and really take the time to entertain and make sure you get what you paid for.

This year on the NKOTBSB tour, I'm doing 2 Gold VIPs (one was as a gift, the other just for the fun of it) and am excited to be a part of it all again!

You're going to have so much fun, and just relax! The boys are awesome!

What shows you doing the VIPs for? If your concerts are before mine, I am going to stalk your LJ for pics, blog and such...they all seem nice, awesome and down to earth people but I'm scared on some level. I know I'll have fun and enjoy it, I'm fangirling already about it. My biggest worry is that I will get my hopes up, like think they are one way then they aren't....

Are they nice? Are they goofy like they are in interviews and such?

I'm a Nick and AJ girl, but I can't lie, Brian and Howie are just as gorgeous....my sister is the Brian and Howie girl, so we just had to divide it....

I'm going to 3 shows, but only doing VIP for DC (next Friday!!) and NY (Jul. 32st). And I will most likely post my pictures/etc. in this community, so you'll see it here :) Brian was ridiculously funny as always. In the M&G, they usually comment on something about you when you come up to take your picture (they have done this to both myself and a few of my friends). Nick noticed my friend's necklace wasn't positioned in the right way so he fixed it for her and she kind of freaked out. lol. I don't know, they're just so amazing and you can't stop saying that enough. They are 100% themselves, and the VIPs are truly worth it.

Well, my show is between those two....I will totally look at those pictures. Brian definitly has a GREAT sense of humor, he cracks me up....like I forced my sister to watch a clip of them and Brian pinched Howie's butt and she asked 'Why does he always grab Howie's butt?' and my answer was 'That is just Brian...' I love all of them, I honestly do. They are all unique people, total different personalities and they just blend well, that is why I'm afraid to see them backstage with NKOTB. My sister is a blockhead, so this is an EPIC tour for us both because it hits her band and hits my band, and we couldn't resist not to go.

I'm even more scared now when you mention 'In the M&G, they usually comment on something about you when you come up to take your picture.' That makes me more scared....

I know it'll be worth it...everyone is saying that it is awesome and they are nice, I know I need to relax but am just worried that it won't be as epic as I think it would be...
