They all kind of felt the same to me. Nothing really grabbed me on the first listening like it did with This Is Us.
I'll have to play it through a few more times, I'm sure the new songs will grow on me ;)

"Breathe" grabbed me on the first listen, but I fell for "Make Believe" hard. So much so, I changed my Tumblr URL to lyrics from it.

I love In a World Like This but I voted for Try.

AJ's sexy voice makes me picture him singing this back in the day with his sexy self. It would fit perfectly in their intimate A Night Out With the Backstreet Boys concert tape.

THIS, so much! When I listen to "Try", I can't help but see "Lay down beside me" in front of my inner eye! The vibe and the voice especially is very similar.

Thanks for your review! I am writing mine right now too, but I could never slap one together based on just first-listen! If I had, "Madeleine" wouldn't have become one of my favorites. ;)

I voted for Trust me - I love the vibe of the song. But, I also love Try, and pretty much any song where I get to hear lots of AJ's wonderous voice :)

Overall, a little disappointed with the album. I just wish they'd take out some of the cringe-worthy lyrics. Yes, I'm talking to you, caveman lyric. They are capable of a lot more than this, but having said that, there are some nice moments, and it's pretty much as I expected it would be. I'll be listening to it on repeat for weeks, I'm sure.

"Love somebody" is one of the songs I really can't get used to, and it's not only the lyrics... I'm actually relived that I won't find myself skipping more than three songs when listening to the album.
