Thyroiditis

Ultrasound scan of thyroid showed some heterogeneous density, consistent with Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Everything else was negative, so no cancer, goiter, etc.

That seems a fairly benign diagnosis among the a priori possibilities. Says here you might have to take a pill a day, which would increase your daily pill count by about 2%.

I, for the first time, just counted the tablets, capsules, etc. that I take daily: 39.

You win! I'm only taking 35. This includes the thyroid extract pill for Hashimoto's.
