it's a shame I don't think that they'll notice

some jerk faces were making fun of me at school because my backpack said "Jesus Freak" on it.
i wanted to punch this guy in the throat so hard then pour salt and lemon juice in his eyes.
but i figured that wouldn't make me any better than him.
plus i didn't have any salt or lemon juice.
so i just kept walking,
hoping he tripped or something.

i decided ( Read more... )

Believe it or not, people gave me a hard time in school when I was there, too. But you know, being a Christian shouldn't be easy. The term Christian was coined to mean: "little Christ" and it was used to mock the followers. Now we embrace it : ]

Speaking of which, next thursday, would you and mary like to come to church?

how weird. i did not know this. any of it! i'll be doin some serious embracing, though.
not that i haven't been or anything. boy, oh boy, i love God.

thurrrsday. okay! the thing about mary is:
1) she's sorta...hardXcore atheist. and she hates it when i talk about religion and stuff. so i don't know if she'd wanna go.
2) i haven't talked to her in a long while. but i'll see.

but i'll probably maybe hopefully be able to go. que hora? [time]

1. yeah, the point of the night is to teach people about christ. it's not about religion, it's about a relationship (yay). but even if she doesn't want to go, totally invite your friends because i don't have any one to bring that doesn't already go to the church or know the lord.

2. 7:30 ish

staring at your feet is an easy escape from the people surrounding you, staring them in teh eye is interesting.

i do it when im driving, and people stare back all the time.
especially the ones in oncoming traffic, its a wonder that no wrecks have been cause becuase of it.

also giving the coming times, outward christians will be persecuted, maybe its just a small show of things to come?

lets just hope it doesnt get any worse.

ooh definetley. i don't do it too much while driving because i'm afraid of getting side-tracked like i frequently do. but i would if i could! intimidating people can be uber fun.

yeaaah. i hope not too. that was the first time though. probably the last too, because i'm rarely seen in the daylight of my school anymore. i hibernate in the library. haha.
and i made a voodoo doll of that guy. so needless to say, he's dead now.
[just kidding about that last part ;) ]

honestly, i didn't know that people even made fun of others' for things like that anymore. but you know what, like paul says in the nt, things like that should make you proud. jesus was crucified, so we should take pride if God thinks we're strong enough to take a little heckling, ya know?

(not that it makes it any less anger inducing...)

aaand that's a tiny dog!!

i didn't either. though, i think that kid was the only kind of them left.
it did kinda make me proud. i would, in no way, have changed who i was/am just so people wouldn't laugh at me. so...
IN YOUR FACE, BULLY'S!!

i know! that's smaller than a hot dog!

i totally look at my feet when i'm walking. it's a bad habit really.. i've bumped so many things when i do it haha. does that make me a klutz or just scared at looking people in the eye? hmm..

haha i'm a big klutz too.
well, are you afraid of looking people in the eye? because i am usually. and that's why i do it.
so technically you could be both!
being a klutz has it's perks though...like...being able to make people laugh unintentionally.
haha..yeaaah

i think i am afraid of looking them in the eye. not because i'm ashamed or anything.. it just makes me kinda uncomfortable. i think that when people look me in the eye they tend to judge me or something.. anyways, i'm scared too.

p.s i don't mind being a klutz. it's fun haha
