Lent is approaching. And besides meat and in-between-meal snacks, I'm not sure what I will sacrafice. I wish i could sacrafice myself for Jesus, but I think He'd be happy with the small things I give up too.

I would give up on giving up. I would try harder at the things I always just say "nevermind" to. This includes speaking up, following thru with my crazy ideas, and putting in the extra effort even when no one else does and it makes me look like a goof.

oh that's such a good one - give up giving up. There ain't nothin' wrong with lookin' like a goof when you're not really one. Speaking up is hard. I'm always afraid of getting shot down or ignored or nobody hears my grand ideas.
