Christmas in Oxford

I went Christmas shopping in London on Saturday. The pavements of Oxford Street were so crowded that the only way to advance was by aggression, mutual consent, or withdrawal to one of the quieter roads, one block removed, on either side

New York is awesome. Staying there isn't THAT expensive if you're not picky - I stayed at the Harlem YMCA for 37 dollars a night. For 150 dollars you can buy a card that will let you walk into all the cool places, and for 60 you can step in and out of a trolley that goes around Manhattan for four days.

Getting there is another story though.
