:(

Just because some jackass is having a bad day, don't let their actions bring you down. They don't deserve to have an impact on you. <3

Easier said than done, I know.

Thanks. <3

The problem is, she used to be my best friend. :/

Hey, I showed up to a party four days ago and my best friend from literally a year and a half ago went 'oh, hey', opened the door and proceeded to pretend I didn't exist for the entire party. She wasn't alone in doing so, either - 6 others of my once-close friends seemed to think I wasn't worth talking to.

But, you know what? Fuck em. Seriously. They're not worth it, you deserve better and letting it get you down just VALIDATES their bullshit behaviour. Just treat them like you'd treat a dog - extinct the attention-seeking behaviour, punish the honestly bad behaviour and, if you're so inclined, reward the good. In this case, go with extinction, because anyone who brings someone else down on purpose is only doing it for a response.

unfortunately, yes. there is nothing you can do about other people's actions though, can only control your own attitude!

Friends come and go. I know this very well, sadly. There really isn't much you can do, aside from figure out why things went bad and learn from it. I've learned that usually when an old friend turns like that, it generally happens because of an altercation or disagreement that got way out of hand.

So yeah, you apparently have way more close friends than anyone can really count on one had... so why are you worrying?

Keying their cars won't make them any less rude, but it might make you feel better.

(DISCLAIMER: The author of this comment does not recommend keying cars! Key cars at your own risk!)

There's a really good song out about that now.

Happens to be one of my favs, although initially unrelated to this incident, could also be considered applicable.

You mean the one by the singer from American Idol? I was surprised at how good that is, considering the source :)

i have a poem on your behalf:
skanks suck
we rock
hang out with me
and at them we'll throw a hockey puck
maybe more than one
and some boulders too
you'd like this idea
that's why i love you!
