It's February 21st. A signficant day in the history of Bangladesh. Brave, young university students fought for, and got killed for, trying to preserve Bangla as their mother-tongue. Forgive my intrusion on your site, but this entry has stirred my heart. Not many of us carry the weight of a nation's history on our shoulders. I must call my Bangala-speaking friends (here in the middle of Nebraska) to talk with them about the day.
