A really beautiful bird again. I've never seen one of these before. We have a Pine Grosbeak, which comes in a dusky pink and grey, that I've seen only twice, but nothing that looks like this little guy. I'm impressed that you are out in the rain - that's real dedication.
ozswede, many thanks for praising my dedication, but I took it through the window :-)) A Pine grosbek would be a new bird for me too. Down south in the pine woods at altitude we get crossbills, though, which can be quite colourful. A week of rain and cold is forecast here, but I see things are at last starting to warm back in France.
