It's almost here... already! It seems like more and more, conventions just sneak up on me... maybe that's because it's kind of less initially exciting to go to them after you've been to a bunch? I remember when I was going to my first convention, AC '07, woofers_hayes and I were talking about it for months and months beforehand. I'll never forget that

Holy crap - you've only been around for a year?!?

And I totally hear ya on the whole midpoint thing. It's my first time goin' to MFF, so I'll be excited to see everyone together, when I usually have to wait months apart to see conventions on the east vs the west.

Hopefully we'll get to hang out! =)
