The goings ons...

Omg.. it's been forever once again! Even longer than ever before, actually :)

Things have been rather odd lately. Ups, downs, goods, bads.... everything has been relatively all over the place. Frankly, it seems like the past month or so has been difficult for a LOT of people, and I'm not sure why. I've noticed that with hegdish and I, often times ( Read more... )

Muscle is the most easily gained/lost tissue, even moreso than fat.

If you only do aerobic exercise, you'll lose fat, but you'll also lose some muscle tissue in the process. The way to prevent that from happening is to throw some strength training in there. A pair of barbells would be a good start.

Also, since muscle weighs more than fat, there's a good chance you will gain muscle faster than you lose fat, and see some initial weight gain. Don't worry too much if you see that happening.

Gah! I have to get my bike out of storage. The weather is beautiful today and is supposed to get warmer this week...would be a great time to do it!
