*laughs*.. that's very very true Jesper :) It's funny how our "FURRY JOURNEY" has been somewhat similar. I think we originally became friends because we either got into things at the same time, or got suits at the same time. I can't quite remember :)
I'm definitely not completely jaded about the furry thing. I still DO enjoy it to some extent.. but it's NOT as big of a part of my life as it was.. which is definitely a good thing.
Writing in a journal is a really good idea. I've forgotten just how theraputic it is... I really should follow suit and do the same thing, even if I keep it private!
Someone recently asked me why I was cynical and I told them Experience. They then told me they didn't really understand but they didn't want to become cynical. I promised them they didn't HAVE to become cynical, but once they were in the real world with a full time job somewhere, they would certainly understand why people get cynical :) Glad you're still happy!
Remember, you need not be happy with everything in life to be fulfilled, you need only be sure you prioritize what is important in your life and be happy with that. If you top priority in life is your family, or your relationships and you are happy with them, then consider yourself successful. Never root your self-worth or happiness in anything that can be taken from you like physical posessions or a job.
*laughs*.. I hear ya man. It's quite easy to become cynical, and a lot of times, it feels quite justified to be that way. Experience does indeed have quite a profound effect on ones outlook... nothing is EVER as rosey as you think it is. But still.. I don't WANT to have a mindset like that!
I do feel successful in my life... job.. relationships.. friends. They all are going very well, and I have no complaints. Which is all the more reason to have a more positive attitude, right??
Lookin' forward to seeing you in ... what.. a month?
Always good to see and hear from you. I kind of feel the same...lots of things going on in life (almost all good), and I have the network of folks I enjoy keeping tabs on. You have always been one of those people I truly enjoy knowing in this community. :)
