I've not been up to much lately. Well, that isn't true. I've been picking colour schemes and fretting about table settings, hiring bands and looking at floral arrangements. And gosh it is all extremely tedious. If I wasn't promised things in return for this whole marriage malarkey, I suspect I would have thrown over the traces and eloped

On the subject of flowers, I walked into a florist in Bolton and declared, "I dislike flowers, but understand they are compulsory. My bridesmaids are wearing this colour. Please help!"

They were very nice :)

Unfortunately... Well, not really unfortunately because it means I don't have to pay for them, my flowers are being handled by Vince's cousin. In spite of my telling her that I don't know flowers, like flowers or indeed care about flowers so long as some turn up, she is not taking a hint.
So I have to look through magazines and pick some floral arrangements to send to her, which is something I'd rather not have to do. Still, free flowers are good.
Perhaps I will just pick the first picture out of the first magazine and go 'This'.

On friday night we went out en masse for Chinese food and to see Predators. I chickened out of the cinema, but the meal was good fun.

You didn't, in my opinion, miss much. Homages to the first film are all well and good but its also important to perhaps have a couple of ideas of your own.

Glad things seem to be fun and happy in the main.

I missed fun with films and giant moths due to needing to clean old house, and make new one look lived in.

I know nothing about flowers, I got my textile art grad sister to make me one.
