I think how you were treated was shocking. A friend of mine had appaling service once and although I wouldnt normally find this rudeness allowed she looked at the snotty assistant and said ' whats with the attitude, your only a shop girl at the end of the day' this put the woman at the posh shop in her place as she had tried to make my mate seem like scum so deserved it.

Your a customer so even if they cant help she should at least be polite. I have never come across this and it could be because I am lucky or the attitude I convey in shops (dunno)

The months for a dress thing is very standard for bridesmaid dresses.

The dresses at Ninfas were made and were ace so imagine yours will be as well. But, as I cant sew even a button on I cannot help I am afraid.

Thank you for reminding me why we went with the semi-elopement solution in the end for our wedding.

I did occasionally get pressured to "have a proper reception at least" by family, but more than 3 years in and that has petered out finally. So worth it.
