Time will pass quickly, it'll be July next week and September's only a fortnight away.
My sister's two children hardly threw / throw up at all as babies, I'm not sure if there's a secret to it but it may involve you drinking fennel tea. Or a certain sort of feeding technique. Either way, it may be that n00b is kind in not covering you in its vomit.
Yep. Amy rarely voms. Being covered in my milk and her poo happens a lot though. I sympathise, you're more sick than I was but I threw up daily with Rosie all the way through my pregnancy and went off chicken when pregnant with Amy. You may find it gets better when you're on mat leave, I found morning rushing to work a big trigger. (which is why I was less sick with Amy). If you fancy visitors when you finish let me know and you can practice nappy changing on Amy and I'll show you her reusable nappies!
Thank you! I would love some visitors when I stop work, and badly need some nappy practice. It has been a very long time since I last faced the poop, and I probably could use a few expert tips about the baby-proofing of the house as well...
I'm hoping to use a nappy laundering service for the n00b, so that I can have all the benefits of the re-usable nappy while all the washes and dryings are handled for me by paid minions in a big industrial nappy-blasting machine. I don't want to use disposables, but I don't fancy boil-washing all the poop-rags single handedly either :)
We used reusables for as long as Ellie fitted in them, and it's not as bad as you might think, so long as you do a wash every day or other day. Having a sealed bin with teatree oil inthe bottom really helped, and the smell isn't as bad as adult poo - it's actually quite a sweet smell in comparison. Milk doesn't make for fetid poo. :)
Much sympathy for the nausea. I am just a beached whale who can't sleep comfortably, I can't imagine also being sick right now
