So the N00b has been out for almost three weeks now, and we're really lucky that so far things are pretty straightforward (touches wood). All she does is eat, sleep, poop, laugh and vomit hilarious quantities of boob-milk onto her grandparents. I was very amused to discover that Hollywood had not exaggerated the range or comedic potential of baby

I take it your finding identifying hunger pretty easily then? The midwives have been telling us that usually by the time they are crying because of hunger you've lost. Getting the feed in once the hunger tells start is apparently the key to a quiet baby.

Glad it's going well, it gives us hope it will all be fine ;-)

Yeah, Franc is fairly textbook with all of her cues. She sticks her tongue out and pretty much goes 'arr nom nom' when hungry, balls her fists and screws her face up when poopin' and stares fixedly at you with big eyes when she wants a hug.
So long as I address these issues before they escalate, she is a complete darling...
