Really the car-seat/pram should, after the baby outgrows the pram, transform wither into a powered exoskeleton for the tot or Mumm-ra, the Ever-living.

The pram should transform into Mumm-ra, not it should transform into an exoskeleton for Mumm-ra, obviously. That would be silly.
