Petting Farm!

This morning I woke up very late, because the n00b had been singing for most of the night. She seems to be able to sense those times when her beloved dad-dad is going to get up at 5am to do suspicious nuclear things in the bowels of a power plant, and spends those nights demanding loudly to be in the grown up bed and then wriggling around it ( Read more... )

I am on the look out for places to walk that arent just Prestwich Forest Parks - nice as they are...

It looks well worth a trip.
The combination reminds me of Woodgate Valley, which was 10 mins drive from us in Birmingham - it also had 'urban farm' with petting, a stables, then some walks...

Aye, Reddish Vale. 'Tis nice down there and only 15 minutes walk, so we go quite often. We don't do the petting farm very often, but since it was Andy and Ant's first time there had to be alpacas.
