1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
hmm. got drunk. i know that's a lame one, but it's true. and i think ultimately important.
2. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
well i think there are things i had at the beginning of 2005 that i lost near the end which i would like to regain in 2006 (like sanity)... maybe some clear ambition? like a little more commitment to a few things
3. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
maybe my core paper at the end of the last school year. it was the hardest i've ever worked on anything for school really, and i was proud of it.
4. What was your biggest failure?
i don't know. maybe letting some things bother me more than i should have. maybe letting some things go on too long.
5. Did you suffer illness or injury?
um. not really injury. not that i can remember at least. some mental illness i suppose
6. What was the best thing you bought?
ooo. maybe coachella tickets.
7. Where did most of your money go?
books/clothes/coffee/alcohol/concerts
8. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
coachella, minnesota, seeing kels again, CAMPING (both at home and at j tree), christmas break

a) happier or sadder?
sadder. but for varied reasons and not because my life isn't good. and because the place i was in this time last year was very distinct but changed pretty quickly. i think i'll be even happier in the near future.
b) thinner or fatter?
pretty much the same i think.

poorer

um. maybe

i got a good internship this summer, so i think i've learned how to operate in the more professional realm, but no huge advancements yet.

hmm. not in the way the i've experienced 'romantic love' in the past... but my definition of love is complex and while i didn't fall in love, my love for several people changed and grew over the year

about a thousand.

hmm... probably the poisonwood bible

i'd say connecting with some classic rock like the beatles, the who, and the beach boys

i turned 19 and i think i just went about my usual business. i remember that everyone knew it was my birthday because of facebook and it was really sweet how many people wished me a happy birthday or gave me something (laura left me a flower on my laptop)
