[Is this thing on? Well apparently so, but there's nothing of real importance going on in the room it's filming.
The room is relatively simple, if not almost bare. However, this is not what your attention should be focused on.
It should be focused on the window. Why? Well you're about to find out.

Excuse me. Sir, are you all right? Stupid question, I know, but that looked like it hurt.
Reply
Doesn't hurt.
[His voice is gruff, but he's trying to keep his cool. He's not being modest, it's barely like a sting. He needs another smoke.]
Maybe you'll tell me where Izaya is?
Reply
[This kind of reckless endangerment can't help but remind him of Dojima, his partner back in Inaba. Dojima would probably just as careless, if not more. He's already getting the same vibe from this guy. He regards his communicator with a jagged grin before continuing.]
I'm sorry, sir, but I have no idea who that is. But, hey, you have some hope, though. There are people back from where I'm from here, so there's chances your Izaya's here too. Oh, by the way, did somebody tell you where we are?
Reply
I heard his voice just before yours over this thing. And some girl was telling me about here, but I still haven't seen Mickey yet...
[He still thinks it's Tokyo Disneyland or something to that effect.]
Reply
Oh, that's good! I'm glad I was right about that! ...But what do you mean about Mickey?
[Wait, could this guy possibly think... Adachi just barely chokes back a snort.]
Sir, this isn't Disneyland. I don't know why anyone would tell you that, but I assure you, this place isn't even on Earth. I just got here, but I think I can brief you. Oh, but before I do that, my name's Adachi, and it's nice to meet you, regardless of the circumstances.
Reply
Ah, I thought she said it was a theme park. Someone else said something like being trapped. Bet it has something to do with that bastard.
[Hopefully that wasn't the sound of you laughing at him. Oh, but you did introduce yourself, so he might as well.]
Heiwajima Shizuo.
[He's not usually a man of many words unless he's angry.]
Reply
Heiwajima-san, not to insult you or anything, but I highly doubt someone could trap so many people in a place like this. In any case, could you tell me more about him? I just might have heard something about him and not realize it. I might even be able to help you find him. I was a detective back where I was from, just to let you know. If I can be of any use, just let me know, okay?
[Ah, and this guy really was so much like Dojima. Through his many months of running errands for him and the rest of the department, the two had hardly talked about much and when they had, Dojima mainly reprimanded him or went on about some hunch he thought he had. Detective's intuition his ass... This was mostly because Dojima saw him only as the mask he so carefully wove, but he can't help but wonder if he should do the same thing here. Does he really want to deal with someone thinking he's a total idiot all over again?]

He's a bastard. Nothing but a louse. Set me up and I walked right into his fucking trap.
[You might not want to get him riled up again. He's a bit touchy.]
I'll punch that stupid grin right off his face.
[Fortunately, since he's a simple guy, he'd rather you not play games with him and just be yourself. He's used to being made the fool by Izaya, so another manipulator is the last thing he wants. But on the bright side, if you do deceive him, he probably won't see it coming from a mile away. No matter what, he'll still hate Izaya more than anyone else. :D]

That doesn't really tell me much, Heiwajima-san. I'm sorry, but could you tell me more about this Izaya? I can tell it's a sore subject, but could you bare with me? It's important if you ever want to get out of here. I mean, if you're right about him kidnapping us all.
[You can almost hear him gesturing in the air with his hands as he talks.]
I mean, it's still really unlikely, but this place is called Wonderland, and I've already seen some weird things here myself. You just might be on to something here, Heiwajima-san. I just want to know what he's capable of is all.
[It's too bad for Shizuo that Adachi's all about games. They've evolved from merely a way to pass his time to a way of living. Right now, he feels like testing just what he can get away with this guy. Being that he can already tell Shizuo's a man of little words, he wants to test what other qualities he has. You know, for reference purposes. But, ( ... )

He's a scrawny prick. Looks like you could touch him and he'd fall over. But he's a fucking flea, jumping all over the place waving that shitty knife around.
[He'll crunch something single-handedly as he describes his epic arch rival. We'll leave what horrible sound that makes to your imagination~]
I don't care if he's behind it. I ain't even that mad really. I just want to kick his ass.
[Hm, recurring theme here if you couldn't tell. It involves Shizuo wanting to beat Izaya. Who knew? :D Anyway, the mention of facts involving this wonderplace makes him grab another cigarette and light it.]
Facts? What kind of facts?
[He frowns. What the fuck did Izaya get him involved in after all?]
Reply
So far, he isn't sounding all that dangerous, Heiwajima-san. Don't you think you're blowing things out of proportion? I want to take you seriously, believe me.
[Adachi idly ponders the sound while Shizuo goes on speaking. He suddenly has the feeling he should sugarcoat his speech a bit. Backtracking, backtracking...]
Oh, just simple ones first to get you settled. As I said, this place is called Wonderland. No, I don't think you'll find Mickey, Donald, or Goofy here. Sorry about that, really.

Fact two: things aren't normal here. In fact, forget everything normal you knew back at home. I met a troll a few days ago, and it didn't look like the kind in fairy tales. I'm expecting to see much weirder things in the days to come, and you should too. Just be prepared if you see a dragon or something, y'know? It's really hard to believe, I know, but trust me here.
Fact three: watch out for the mirrors. I don't know much about this one, to be honest, other than that they obey the person who runs everything here. And to go with this rule, you should probably not trust the natural inhabitants here. Only trust people like you and me at best. And by that I mean people brought here.
Did I cover anything you haven't been told before? Either way, I hope I helped!

Blowing out of proportion? Since high school he's always been behind the scenes pulling the strings. And he's fucking framed me for crimes I didn't commit twice!
[That is decidedly not the thing you want to say to him |D but the distraction of wonderplace like things will calm him temporarily.
What he was saying was a lot to digest. Shizuo just scratched his head with a sigh.]
I don't really get what you're talking about, but I guess I'll find out soon enough.
[Since it's hard to really explain unless you've experienced it, no?]
Reply
Well, Heiwajima-san, you can't just leave out big facts like that in an investigation! How can I take you seriously when you do that? But now that you've said that, well, I can see how he gets you worked up! He didn't happen to actually land you in jail, did he? I know you must be sore about it, so you don't have to answer if it makes you uncomfortable.
[Adachi finds himself holding back laughter for the third time. Right. No, he was wrong with immediately comparing Shizuo to Dojima. Their attitudes were about the same, but Dojima? He actually had some brains about him. This guy? He was starting to suspect either Shizuo had too much on his plate or he was just an utter fool. Maybe it was even both.]
Hey, it's okay. You'll get it some time. It took me a while to piece everything together too.
[He's exaggerating here, but he has to ( ... )

The police let me go shortly after the first incident. The second was a yakuza killing so the police won't know about it. But the Awakusu are the ones I'm trying to avoid.
[Shizzy lets out a breath. Oh the prick makes his blood boil. He's trying not to throw something again.]
He gets off on observing people.
[He shrugs.]
This place seems to be good for that.
Reply
Well, this is probably Adachi's fault. Maybe if he switched the subject around Shizuo would talk about something else? Ah, no, he wants to learn more about Izaya first.]
It's a good thing they let you go too.
[Forgive him. On his end, he's playing with his gun.]
I'm sorry about your situation, Heiwajima-san. But, hey, guess what! You don't have to worry about the Awakusu or anything like that here. All you have to worry about is Izaya, and I doubt this place has a police force. Unless you count the mirrors, I guess.
And as for him getting off on observing people, could you explain that one to me? Is he just so detached from reality that he gets off on other people's problems? Give me more details, Heiwajima-san.
[ooc: OH MY GOD I KEPT ON SEEING TYPOS. sorry for editing this three times fml.]
