Bad Dolly Deal against Jisatsu/Chi-no-Tenshi for STOLEN PROPERTY

Please note. This is a long transaction that took over 2 years to follow up through. The post is long and I have mostly just included the bare facts taken directly from facebook messages, I've only trimmed out the boring other stuff we talked about that are not related to the ( Read more... )

I'd like to point out that going to DOA's problem transaction thread and looking up Skunkmight will show you the other side of this story. The OP was banned for not sending out paid for parts, not paying for layaways, and such. That thread also shows she was not communicating with Jisatsu and not sending shipping payments for ages. The thread was closed unresolved because the OP was banned and everyone gave up and the last note from Jisatsu there was that OP had finally paid for shipping.

Buying a doll from a loved one is not wrong and not proof of thievery. She has proof that she bought one of the heads. She admits the other two were paid cash, but she gave proof she bought one of the heads. The problem is just who she bought from like its a big conspiracy. There is not proof that Jisatsu is a thief, just a lot of speculation and accusation. There is however proof the OP is.

Why did you wait so long to bring this up? I mean, there has to be some statute of limitations. Even if she did have the items you say she stole after so much time has passed and you didn't try to get them back they would be considered abandoned property and she can do what she wants with them. I'm not sure how many years that is.
I mean, I know if someone "stole" my dolls I'd be nagging them just about every day to get my items back.

She states that she thought they'd gone missing with the Post Office and "Gave up until she saw Chi selling her items". She didn't want to blame Chi for them going missing apparently ( ... )

Yeah, I've been lurking around and saw everything as it unfolded.

I just feel like if I had so many dolls go missing I would follow up and try to track it down. Something could have been done at the time with insurance or even if it was delivered to the wrong place maybe the post office could have even tracked it down.

Skunkmight should just suck it up and let it go at this point. It's their own fault for not following up with Chi and letting her know it wasn't delivered. It's sad the dolls disappeared but this should have been dealt with years ago.

Also there is the fact it was sent with signature required and shown as delivered, from what I've heard. Unless someone on Skunk's end stole them/illegally signed for them.

From what I have read, Jisatsu has never produced tracking numbers or receipts for any of her alleged shipping attempts. Even with the time that has elapsed, it is possible to contact USPS and revive old tracking information, so it is possible to prove that the item was sent and signed for, if it actually was.

However, it is a bit amusing that Skukmight is complaining of how she was treated in a transaction when the people she stole from have never been refunded to this day, according to the DoA MP thread.
