Miss Kotetsu,

Am I to assume you are the one filling my son's head with foolish notions? My decision is final; he is to come here to my hospital this summer and begin his training. Uryuu is to go into a career that will keep him supported as well as earn him respect. I will not stand for him going into that designer nonsense or whatever it is he wants to do.

Our lives are our business, not yours. If you wish to take matters into your own hands, I would suggest you think twice young lady. As for allowing him to visit his friends, it will be highly unlikey, seeing as he will have an large amount of work to deal with here. But be warned, if I find out he ran off again, as he did last year, I will put the blame onto you.

That man is more stubborn than you can believe. He can drag me to his cursed hospital, but he can't make me follow in his footsteps. As soon as I'm 18, I'm moving out and away from him, in whatever manner of wealth I am at right now. (However, between you and me, with a major donation made to me earlier this school year, and the business I've been making this entire semester, I can easily afford my own flat and even start a small shop of my own.) All I have to do is endure him one more year, and he'll be out of my hair.

It's fine, you would probably dislike him if you met him. I can always visit you, can't I?

He...he says not, Uryuu. How are you going to get away to visit? He acts like he's going to have his eye on you the whole time.

I..I think I've made everything so much worse for you. He is blaming me for your ideas, maybe its better that way... the blame is off you.

I've had to spend summers at his hospital before. He physically cannot keep an eye on me at all times and do his job while he's at it. I've managed to weedle my way out of his grasp a few times to go out on my own.

And he's can't pin those ideas on you, I've been like this nearly all my life, he knows how I am. He probably thinks it's the other way around.
