i had this huge comment written out and it was kickin' it's possible livejournal hates me.
but basically -
i was so skeptical of the Notebook;
but then bec and i saw it and i pretty much broke down sobbing.
when he takes her out in his canoe/gondola [can you hve a gondola if you're not in venice - hush! you can if i say you can] and there's all the ducks and she's like 'wow this is beautiful' and he's all internally wretched and "I BUILT IT FOR YOU!!" .. bot that he says that. but whatever. i cried
and then on the pier. just .. that scene really got me.
