1. i don't try too hard to be deep
2. i write about things other than break ups and slitting my wrists
3. i have better things to do than cut or otherwise disfigure myself
4. i do not dress in black or have multiple piercings
5. my favorite hangout is not hot topic

and it's good that you don't assume i'm like that because i listen to emo among other forms of music.

that entry is awesome. People try way too hard to conform to whats "scene" or "emo". Not that i dont listen to it... there are some good bands, such as From Autumn To Ashes, The Starting Line, and My Chemical Romance. I just think the trend is stupid.
