Today a customer came into work and I noticed on his driver's license that we had the same birthday, which of course means I had to say, "We have the same birthday!"

And he said, "Ah, so you're on the cusp, too, huh?"

This pleased me greatly. When people ask me what my sign is I always point out that I was born on the cusp, so I consider myself

The cusp is like a little window during the changing of signs, something like 3 days before and 3 days after, when the sun has not completed its journey into the next house (sign) entirely. Those born on those dates are said to have qualities of both signs.

According to some astrology charts, July 23rd is the last day of Cancer, and on some it is the first day of Leo. That is my birthday. I am right in the middle of the 7-day window.

I didn't know about this when I was younger, but when I got older I started checking it out. It's pretty cool.
