It was an easy day for Penelope and she considered thoughtfully what she was going to do for the weekend. Most likely keep to herself, possibly read. Or maybe she'd see what Joan or Ino were up to. She was in a good mood though and settled back on her cot, munching on a Ho Ho. She promised Miss Daisy she was going to cut down on the chocolate cakes

Joan dropped by to see how Penelope was doing since they hadn't had a chance to talk in their music workshop.

"Hey, you busy?" she asked, poking her head in the other girl's alcove.

"Hey," she smiled, welcoming her in. "Not at all. What's up?"

"Not much," Joan said, going in and sitting on the edge of the bed. "Just wondered how you fared yesterday."

"Oh, with the singing." She laughed. "It was odd but not altogether bad. I ended up singing to my driver's ed partner about wanting her. And she me. It was funny. How'd you do?"
