I should be doing something more productive than thinking about how badly I want to FUCKING strangle this person, but here I am. There's not a good enough journal icon that I possess for the level of SHUT THE FUCK UP I am channeling toward this barely sentient drone.
So basically the gist: Player Awesome has an idea for a big plot that involves a lot of people in the game. They are even taking aside their time to tag this event exclusively because of how big it is and how many characters and their development will be affected. They don't have to do that. But they are. Keep in mind now that there are at least *counts....* twenty characters that they are tagging in this plot. At least. In order.
So like many big plots or popular plots characters in chat make a thread on it where everyone gives their thoughts and good times are had by all. Everyone else is commenting about their characters and how much fun they are having.

(After this wankery you'd figure it would stop and back off. Maybe they aren't a whiny brat. Maybe they are just really socially awkward or insecure. They grind my nerves, but hey, no one's perfect.They go onto paraphrase on how they aren't trying to cause drama or rush anyone and player awesome pretty much says politely but firmly that some replies come easier, but they are going in order and not to complain of their tagging speed.)

At this point ,everyone is chat is just doing their own thing and ignoring this and I don't blame them. This is embarrassing. And for a little while it's back to normal. Then:
-alright, there's My tag again... :-D <33 take your time replying, though, really; I DO have other tags to do, both at *insert random place no one cares about because no one asked* and at my PSL's.. which have been HORRIBLY NEGLECTED! D= <333 (So, you neglect your own tags but you're whiny about how you had to wait for tags?????? There's a large stick over there. Go beat yourself with it.)
Seriously, even as joking, this is obnoxious and rude. This person is actually doing really well considering all they have to take care of in this event. I'm going to mention again to be grateful that they took this idea, ran with it and put this plot together for us. If they have to feel stressed out because they feel rushed then it's not going to be fun for them anymore. Nothing is going to kill someone's drive to tag like MAKING A CHORE OUT OF IT. I want tags too, you know. I'm sure so do the others participating. In fact, many people have been anticipating this plot for a month.
But you know, I also have tags I can be giving out elsewhere to people who are waiting on me. Think I'll do that while I wait. Or do something else - or go outside even!
I have not posted to this community in almost a year. I try not to overindulge in this sort of ranting. But you, dear bad rper, you.....you really just deserved a spot here. Unnacceptable gaming entiquette. Update: apparently they were also banned from another community. I don't know what for but I can hazard a few guesses.
Update: Holy fucking shit this person just got banned from our game. (Took like a month.) Well, at least I now know I wasn't just imagining them being a harassing douche canoe!
