I hate breaking off plots and RPs I like just due to bad OOC behavior.
Well, I'm really dissappointed.
So, recently I found someone to RP this sci-fi plot I've been wanting to do. It was basically a high school type slice of lifey thing.... that just happened to be set on a high school on a space colony. I LOVED it. There was drama and a lot of cute tension between my character who was an Earth refugee with a dead family taken in by the colony and the colonists were mistreating him from being from Earth, especially the students at the high school (which was very much a militarized high school, the students are learning/training to go into space war with the Earth forces, think Gundam-like.) yet, my character couldn't help but be attracted to the colonist boys my partner played, we had a plot about the colonists, especially the teens, being genetically enhanced. (and thus very pretty and athletic.) and they even dressed in cute space colonist fashions that make my character even more nervous. (Short shorts or miniskirt-looking space uniform tunic bottoms with colored silky shiny tights of verious colors covering their legs with cute shoes/boots, and cute jackets and tight silky form fitting tops, even wearing cute outfits like that for zero-g sports!) and it was unbelievable cute. Even if we did take the plot in a dakr direction with how my character was bullied and abused, but we discussed out limits before hand and built up our characters relationships and it evolved into a great little RP.
I was really, REALLY digging it, up until I found something objectanable with something my partner said OOC, they had used a slur jokingly and I was not okay w/ it. They defended the slur, and argued with me, and eventually they yelled at me and broke contact, after issuing a threat and calling me a freak.
I.... I hate it when a RP I like end with such catastrophic results. I hate it when OOC stuff ruins a good thing.
