[Winter was rapidly approaching. The colder it became, the more lethargic one might feel. Vashta was no exception to this. On this day, she floated above the pond on her island, lost in the land of dreams...
If only a visitor were to arrive...]

Goose couldn't stay away for long, not with what was going on at the school. If he stayed away for too long... well, as a security guard, he was needed. For him to not be there, what if someone got hurt again? What if it was his fault for not being there to defend them?
No. He couldn't stay at Newmoon for long. However, he felt that this was a visit he needed to make for his own sake.
He approached the pond, already feeling cramped on such a tiny island, despite this not even being the first time he's been here. Far from that. It was just still a bit tough to get used to.
He didn't speak. Once he saw her in front of him, everything else was smaller to him. She was his focus.
He enveloped her in his arms.

She returned the embrace. As she hugged him, she inquired as to what was the matter. This wasn't normal for him...

What was wrong. Ha. Ha. What was fucking wrong. That was quite a thing to answer, all things considered.
"Shit went crazy at the school. You wouldn't believe-..."
Goose paused and stepped back for a moment, his face very full of stress. This is, indeed, unlike him.
"People got hung in front of the school like ragdolls. Most of 'em were Pokemon. All 'cause people ain't happy with Pokemon and they're calling 'em freaks. Telling 'em to get out."
He hissed and spat at the ground below. "Bastards."

Alarm bells were setting off in Vashta's mind. If she were of a more stable state of mind, she would have asked what happened to cause such an act...
However, she was old enough to be familiar with such things.
And she knew what it was to be considered an outcast; a target of violent, hateful and meaningless acts. Needless to say, some very unpleasant memories resurfaced, and Vashta began to panic, clutching his shirt.
"Wh-why... What's going to happen, Josh? Are they going to come for me, too?!"

"I dunno, and... They ain't. Pretty sure no one's gonna bother goin' for someone that ain't around the school no more. But if they do..."
His expression suddenly turned dark, probably the nastiest look you could possibly see on him. "I'll drain 'em of every ounce of blood in their bodies. You understand?"
He was probably in one of the worst moods he's been since the Aparoid War. Something that he wasn't sure Vashta has seen yet.
The side of him that was on the prowl and ready to kill.
